Yes. We provide life vests of all sizes that will ensure you to stay above water if you should fall in. Also our boards are high end inflatables with maximum stability to give you the most balance possible on the SUP. If you want to start slow you can also paddle on your knees or seated, which will make falling in almost impossible.

For the most ideal weather conditions we recommend to not go much later then 10am since that is generally when the wind currents & waves start picking up.
-
From November to May, which is the dry season, the weather is almost always sunny and beautiful, making it an ideal time for SUP. Winds tend to pick up around midday, so we recommend heading out earlier in the day for the calmest conditions. From May to November, the rainy season brings afternoon rains, so mornings are usually still a great time to enjoy the lake. While we can’t fully guarantee perfect weather, chances are high for favorable conditions, especially with a morning start.
BOULDERING GYM
Climb to new heights in Lakes Atitlan’s bouldering gym!
Bouldering is rock climbing stripped down to its raw essentials. Without the use of ropes and harnesses you will be challenged on the wall to solve short but tricky bouldering “problems”. The routes or sequences of moves use a combination of technique, strength, balance and a calm mind. Our boulder walls are at a height of 4.5m and are floored with professional grade crash pads. The gym offers over 30 different routes designed for beginner to advanced climbers.
Open to the public: Mo. Wed. & Fri. 9:30am - 12pm
Entrance Q50, Q25 Shoes, Q5 Chalk
Private bookings Q250 for 1 person, 50Q for every additional person.

Item descriptionYes, our bouldering gym is designed with safety as a top priority. We’ve equipped the space with high-quality crash pads to cushion falls, secure holds, and provide guidance on safe climbing techniques. While bouldering is generally safe, we encourage all climbers to know their limits, warm up properly, and use caution when trying new routes. For beginners, we recommend starting with easier routes to build confidence. Climbing is a fun way to challenge yourself, and we’re here to make sure your experience is both exciting and secure.
-
If you visit us during our public open hours Mo. Wed. & Fri between 9:30 - 12pm there is no need to make a reservation. If you’d like to climb during an alternative time or would like to book the gym for a group, please contact us for a private booking!
-
Of course! Our gym caters to all skill levels and is very beginner friendly. Our staff will be happy to give you plenty of tips and tricks to get you climbing confidently. If you’d like additional support consider attending one of our educational climbing events or booking private instruction for yourself or a group.

Generally, yes—children are welcome in the bouldering gym, but they must always be under the direct supervision of their parents or guardians. We also ask that kids can follow and respect the gym’s safety guidelines, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Parents should help their children understand the importance of being mindful of other climbers, keeping noise to a minimum, and not interfering with others’ climbs. This way, everyone can focus on their climbs while sharing a respectful, supportive space.

Yes, our sauna is designed with safety in mind, using a natural fire-heated system and hot stones that are maintained to ensure a comfortable experience. Saunas are generally safe for most people, but it's important to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged sessions, and take breaks to cool down. For guests with health conditions, including heart issues, respiratory conditions, or if you’re pregnant, we recommend consulting a doctor before use. Your comfort and well-being are our top priorities, and we encourage you to enjoy the sauna mindfully.
-
You’re welcome to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Many guests choose to wear swimwear, but enjoying the sauna without clothing is also perfectly acceptable, as it can enhance the full experience. We want you to relax and enjoy this rejuvenating space in the way that feels best for you.

If you’re feeling unwell, have a fever, or any heart or respiratory conditions, it’s best to avoid the sauna until you’re fully recovered. Pregnant guests or those with specific health concerns should consult their doctor before using the sauna. Additionally, avoid sauna use after consuming alcohol or large meals, as it may lead to discomfort. Your safety and comfort are our priority, so please listen to your body and take breaks if needed.
COLD PLUNGE
Refresh in a cold plunge to awaken your body and mind.
Cold plunging is a powerful way to invigorate your body and mind, offering a wide range of benefits. Immersing yourself in cold water, especially between 2 and 6 degrees Celsius, stimulates circulation, boosts immune function, and helps reduce inflammation, which can support faster muscle recovery and ease soreness. The shock of the cold also releases endorphins, improving mood and focus while providing a natural energy boost. Additionally, cold plunging helps build resilience by activating the body's adaptive responses, encouraging better stress management and promoting overall mental clarity.
