Mindful Mobility Class with Steph Leyland

About the Teacher:
Steph Leyland is a Movement Specialist, Certified Rolfer, Rock Climber, Wood Carver & World Traveler who is currently living in San Marcos La Laguna.
Steph used to suffer from chronic body pain which inspired her to begin a years long journey of embodied learning & self-discovery through numerous movement modalities. After much experimentation, Steph finally found the techniques that worked for her which have led to her work as a Rolfer & Movement Specialist.

Join Steph each Friday at Venga Atitlan for Mindful Mobility Class! Incorporating diverse practices & techniques from various movement modalities, Steph will help you to explore your full range of motion – building strength & confidence in your body and mind.
Tired of struggling with tight hips & tight hamstrings? Do you find that no matter how much you stretch you still don’t seem to be improving your mobility? Steph’s classes aim to build strength in your body and expand your range of motion rather than focus on flexibility alone.
Reduce tightness by building strength around your joints. Calm your parasympathetic nervous system with mindful practice. Amp up your mind/body connection with fun new movements. This class will challenge your physical body as well as your mental capacity for new input. You don’t need to stretch when your joints feel strong and safe in all ranges of motion.
